Following the success of BierWest, TAPT launched BierOost in 2016 and expanded beyond Amsterdam with UtrechtTapt in 2017. This led to a rebrand as TAPT Festival, unifying all editions under one name. Hosting 13 events in 12 cities in 2025, TAPT juggles diverse venues and audiences while maintaining its signature vibe. As operational demands grew, TAPT partnered with Weeztix in 2021 to streamline their ticketing, data, and on-site logistics while supporting their continued expansion nationwide.

Weeztix provides TAPT with a powerful, intuitive dashboard that centralises everything: ticket creation, analytics, real-time check-in data, and event duplication. These tools allowed the TAPT team to easily compare past performance, clone successful ticket and event setups, and scale without friction, even while running overlapping events across the country.
Weeztix’s pre-registration feature allows TAPT to collect early sign-ups, building hype before launch. Through smart integrations with Google Tag Manager and Meta, TAPT can retarget interested users and launch campaigns directly from their ticketing data. This means their promotions are more effective and sell more tickets earlier.
Weeztix supplies TAPT with ready-to-use scanning hardware and access to a user-friendly scan app. TAPT also uses Weeztix’s live check-in feature to monitor crowd levels throughout the day. This helps them scale crew up or down based on real-time data, keeping lines short and operations efficient. When issues arise (as they inevitably do in live events), Weeztix’s event-savvy support team is on call to solve them, day or night.
